Available exclusively in Kyoto, these Yatsuhashi KitKats are probably my favorite yet! Truth be told, I didn’t know what “yatsuhashi” was either, so had to google it. Turns out it’s “a Japanese confectionery, one of the best known famous regional products of Kyoto, made from glutinous rice flour, sugar and cinnamon”.
And let me tell you, this cinnamony “yatsuhashi” flavor translates amazingly well into a Kit Kat. Its sugary spiced goodness just pops in your mouth!
