Two words… Joe. Beef.

One of the reasons we went to Montreal. To eat and drink at Joe Beef.
And that’s just what the joint is… a place to eat and drink. To indulge and be merry. To laugh and make new friends. To enjoy life for the time you’re within their walls. And we did all of that.
It’s not really a place to take pictures, but I tried that too. Here’s the best I could do…
My gin martini and freshly baked bread…

Colville Bay oysters from PEI. Some of the best I have ever had! Definitely in my top three…

Foie gras liverwurst with gin and riesling jelly…

Pig skin pasta, which is tagliatelle mixed with pig skins also cut into similar sized strips!

Center loin of pork in a mustard cream sauce with oysters and other good stuff I am forgetting now…

Horse tenderloin wrapped in bacon, braised in a four cheese and pilsner sauce with a fried egg and peas cooked in bone marrow…
