Earlier this year, I declared the Kyoto exclusive Yatsuhashi Kit Kat the “Best Japanese Kit Kat Yet”! Well, it seems I was not alone in feeling that way and Nestle Japan got the message as they’ve now re-released the flavor nationally for the rest of Japan to enjoy!
What is “yatsuhashi” you ask? Well, I didn’t know either so Google told me it’s “a Japanese confectionery, one of the best known famous regional products of Kyoto, made from glutinous rice flour, sugar and cinnamon”.
The packaging has been slightly redesigned for the nationwide roll-out…

And the cinnamon flavor has been amped up…

Definitely the best yet!
Destined for the Kit Kat Hall of Fame!!
