Landed in Charleston at 1pm, were sitting at Husk for lunch by 2pm…

Southern fried chicken skins, so good that the light of heaven shone down on them…

And they’re homemade hot sauce… oh so spicy smooth!

We were warned not to steal the bottle…

Their rabbit stew and dumplings, one of the best three dishes I have eaten at any restaurant anywhere in the world this year! Crazy good!!

And the burger, constantly at the top of so many “Best Burger in America” lists…

The burger that chef Sean Brock says he made for himself because it’s the way he wants to eat them. I forget the exact blend but there was brisket and ribeye and at least 10% of it is ground bacon to boot…

Two perfectly cooked patties topped with cheese, chopped onions, mustard and pickles… Definitely one of the two best burgers I have had all year!

Foie gras, peanut butter brittle, french toast and blueberry jam for dessert…
