Post with 6 notes
In honor of this year’s Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2), I was proud to be a part of the creation of a new seasonal beer developed by the fine folks at Three Floyds Brewing… ZOMBIE DUST!! In case you missed the earlier Eataku post about the new brew, you can read all about it here.
The Wednesday night before the con, me and a merry band of Marvelites, C2E2ers and a number of friends and fans all drove down to the Three Floyds Brew Pub in Munster, IN, where Barnaby, Dan and the rest of the boys who brew threw a private bash for us to help launch Zombie Dust. Here’s a look at the party…
“Come inside the show’s about to start…
…guaranteed to blow your head apart!”
Such a beautiful sight, no?!
The guys at Three Floyds were kind enough to also give us a tour of their brewery and warehouse, aka “heaven”!
Can I take one home with me? Please?!
Some of the Three Floyds beers aging in bourbon barrels for their upcoming Dark Lord Day…
They produced some wonderful banners featuring the art for the upcoming Zombie Dust labels by Tim Seeley of Hack/Slash and Ant-Man & Wasp fame…
Tim’s art was also featured on one of their custom taps…
…from which Tim got to pour his own Zombie Dust!
Partners-in-crime…
The motley crew that put this all together: inker Matt Waite, Three Floyds’ Barnaby Struve, me and Tim Seeley…
Someone started “Draw Me The Best Wolverine” contest on the chalkboard in the mens room…
But it was a writer who summed up the evening best with his words…
Huge thanks to Barnaby, Dan and the brew crew at Three Floyds Brewery; to Lance, Peter and the gang at C2E2; to Matt Waite, Tim Seeley and everyone who helped make Zombie Dust a reality and turned up to celebrate its release!
