The sun finally showed up late Saturday, so we did manage to a little grilling in out in Connecticut. Yay! I was inspired by a recipe I saw in a recent issue of Food & Wine for these wings…
Tossed them in a bowl with an olive oil & lime juice combo and mixed them up so they were well coated, sprinkled them with dried oregano & cayenne pepper, then popped them in the fridge overnight. Took them out the next day and popped them on the grill for about 20 minutes, flipping them occasionally, finally shaking on some red chili pepper flakes before serving.
Wings, beer and late afternoon sunshine… finally felt like summer!
